Our certifications

To ensure greatest possible protection regarding health and environmental, the special classification system “EMICODE” is founded by the GEV institute in order to classify the construction coating materials.

The materials are very low in emissions, meet strict standards and are monitored by independent inspection bodies.

In order to be awarded the EMICODE label, manufacturers have to submit their products for testing at recognized institutions. Based on the testing results the construction materials are categorized in three emission classes ( EC2, EC1 and EC1 Plus).

Cement Plus products “Nanostucco 500” and “Nanofin 50 Velvet” are awarded with the highest available class of EMICODE Certification, the EC1 Plus.

An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a report issued according to international standards (ISO 14025, EN 15804) and quantifies the environmental impacts of a product over its whole life cycle, measured with the standardized LCA (Life Cycle Assessment).

In the construction field, EPDs are an important tool for architects, designers and construction companies in order to have a thorough understanding of the environmental impacts of a product in various fields, such as climate change, photochemical ozone formation, water use and wastage.

In the context of the global shift from the linear to the circular economy and the reduction of waste, CEMENT PLUS was certified by Eurocert SA with the ZERO WASTE TO LANDFILL GOLD AWARD for its excellent environmental performance at a rate of 96.96%.

CEMENT PLUS is committed to the principles of the circular economy, through the process for waste minimization, reuse – recycling – reduction of CO2 emissions and efficient waste management.

OUR GOALS

The main action plan of our company is the reduction of waste and its conversion into valuable resources. The careful selection of the appropriate raw materials and their judicious use, in combination with the modern production facilities-with low energy consumption, leads to a low energy footprint.

We promote the international collective effort for a carbon-neutral future and continuously work to achieve the Paris Agreement (COP21) target to strengthen the global response to the threat of climate change by keeping a global temperature rise this century well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels. Our facilities have been certified with the latest version of ISO 14001 with the main purpose of supporting the vision of the European Green Deal on neutral carbon emissions by 2050.
